Physiotherapy

We assess, diagnosis, and treat the source of pain or injury using various manual therapy techniques, modalities (such as ultrasound, muscle stimulation, sports taping, acupuncture), and therapeutic exercises.


Massage Therapy

We offer various massage techniques including swedish massage, trigger point release, myofascial release, deep tissue, and sports massage which can treat muscular pain, stress, and tension in the body.


Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a drug-free, non-invasive manual therapy that aims to improve health across all body systems by manipulating and managing the musculoskeletal framework. Our Osteopath aims to restore the normal function and stability of the joints to help the body heal itself.


Pelvic Physiotherapy

Chantelle graduated from the Master of Physical Therapy program at Western University. She completed a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science and Nutrition at the University of Guelph where she also worked as an athletic therapist for the track and field team gaining experience in taping techniques.

Chantelle’s treatment approach involves a combination of exercise, manual therapy, and education. She believes fostering a supportive and meaningful relationship with her patients in their rehab journey will help create more favourable outcomes. Her goal is to collaborate with patients and empower them to reach their goals so they can do the things they love. Chantelle has special interests in treating knee and shoulder injuries, pre and post-surgical rehab, return to sports rehab and pelvic health concerns.

Chantelle also has training in acupuncture and pelvic health which has expanded her knowledge and ability to treat a diverse population. Outside of the clinic, Chantelle enjoys traveling, going to concerts, discovering new food spots, and going to workout classes with friends!

Carmen’s massage therapy practice is shaped by over a decade of experience as a Certified Athletic Therapist. She has treated a variety of athletes…from recreational to professional to industrial. As part of medical teams, Carmen has attended many high performance events including Pan American Games, Deaflympics and Canada Games. She is passionate about working with all athletes and has worked extensively in hockey, volleyball and ultimate frisbee.

Carmen strongly believes that a successful treatment plan requires collaboration between the practitioner and client. Her treatments are client focused and uses the tools from her ongoing professional development to obtain the treatment goals for her clients. She uses Swedish massage techniques accompanied with trigger point therapy, fascial release and craniosacral techniques.

Richard formerly worked as a scientist within the pharmaceutical industry while maintaining his hobbies in Olympic weightlifting and powerlifting. Through the injuries obtained from training and competition, and a desire to heal and optimize his body, Richard was able to experience a wide range of therapeutic modalities including osteopathy. In 2019 he enrolled at the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy with a focus on manual therapy and a comprehensive understanding of the body’s structure and function. Richard completed the program in 2023, officially becoming an osteopathic manual practitioner.

Richard’s personal experience as an athlete provided him with unique insights into the body’s mechanics and the impact of physical performance. His dedication and commitment to learning allowed him to develop a deep understanding of osteopathic principles and techniques.

Having completed his education, Richard is now equipped to make a meaningful impact in the field of osteopathy by looking at the body holistically. His goal is to help individuals address both the symptoms and root causes of their ailments, providing personalized care tailored to their specific needs. Brenden graduated from McMaster University with a Bachelor of Science Kinesiology (Honours) degree in 2017 and went on to complete a Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2019.

Brenden’s treatment approach consists of a combination of manual therapy and specific exercise prescription to address the issue at hand and any contributing factors. Currently Brenden has his Level 1 in Manual and Manipulative Therapy and completed AA1: Foundations of Anatomical Acupuncture by Acupuncture Canada. He plans to continue his education by further pursuing the Manual and Manipulative Therapy level system and dry needling courses.

In his spare time Brenden likes to stay active throughout the year by hitting the gym for resistance training and maintaining his cardio by running. During the Winter he has his seasonal trips to the slopes to snowboard, and in the Summer spends his time tossing frisbee, hiking, and camping.

Thomas had always been around sports from a young age and as a result had been a patient of physiotherapy himself. He understands how worrying and scary it can be to be injured. This gives him a deeper understanding of what patients are going through when they come to the clinic in pain.

Thomas went to Australia to complete a Masters of Physiotherapy from the University of Sydney in 2018. Since graduating Thomas has worked in private practice, which has given him the opportunity to work with a variety of populations and injuries. These include acute and chronic injuries, rehab pre and post surgery, repetitive strain disorders, and sports injuries.

Thomas’ approach to treatment is a combination of manual therapy, acupuncture and dry needling, and specialized exercise programs to manage and prevent injuries.

Thomas is also specialized in Concussion management having completed the Shift Concussion management program. This involves treatment for acute concussion symptoms as well as chronic post concussion symptoms such as vestibular issues, balance issues, headaches, nausea and visual tracking

Kenneth’s passion for learning about human movement and anatomy led to the completion of a BSc. in Honours Kinesiology at McMaster University, after which he completed his Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.

From a young age, Kenneth has always been heavily involved in competitive sports such as volleyball, rugby, and badminton. Naturally, in these years as an athlete, he has also had his fair share of injuries. Kenneth’s extensive experiences as a patient to the rehabilitation process has played a huge role in the development of his dedication to helping others return to the activities or sports that they love.

Treatment sessions with Kenneth will include a combination of manual therapy, movement and postural analysis, and exercise prescription. Most importantly, Kenneth aims to ensure that these treatment strategies are incorporated with a plan of care that has been tailored towards achieving each patient’s individualized goals.

Outside of work, you will often find Kenneth at the gym working on his personal strength and conditioning, at the volleyball courts playing pick up or at his local Muay Thai gym. Kenneth is also a huge basketball fan, being involved in multiple fantasy basketball leagues and watching every Raptors game whenever he gets the chance. Being involved at an early age in several sports including soccer, volleyball, and snowboarding, David has had his fair share of injuries, including a serious knee injury that required him to undergo extensive physiotherapy. This gave him a profound perspective on the rehabilitation process as a patient, which he has carried with him. This experience has allowed him to more clearly understand patients’ needs.

David is dedicated to providing quality patient-focused care through manual therapy, education, and patient specific therapeutic exercises. He believes that the key to successful treatment starts with a thorough assessment to determine the root cause of pain or injury. David believes in continuous learning and has training in Mulligan Techniques, McKenzie Treatment approach to low back and neck pain, Manual Therapy, acupuncture, and dry needling.

David is also a member of the Toronto Written Development Group (WIGC) for the Canadian Alliance of Physiotherapy Regulators, where he is involved with the development of content for the Physiotherapy Competency Exam. From a young age Dennis was passionate about sports, you could always find him on the volleyball court or soccer field. This led him to pursue a BSc degree in Honours Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo to better understand human movement, anatomy, and health. After completing his degree, Dennis explored this passion further by attending the Sutherland- Chan School of Massage Therapy. Through clinical placements at various hospitals and rehabilitation institutions, he learned the importance of massage in stress, pain, and overall wellbeing.

Dennis takes a client- centered approach to treatment, prioritizing client needs and concerns. Every treatment plan will be specific to each person, ensuring all their goals and needs are met. His work also emphasizes self-care and patient education, to ensure healing continues beyond the treatment room.
